In the town of Luqya, located in Ethiopia’s Afar region, the Kamal Charity team recently launched a mission to aid families facing hardships. They distributed 50 food baskets to 50 families, offering vital support to around 200 people in need. Each of these carefully curated baskets contained vital supplies tailored to meet the nutritional needs of the recipients. From 25 kilograms of flour to 20 kilograms of rice and 3 liters of cooking oil, every item was thoughtfully selected to meet their immediate needs.
Furthermore, the team distributed Zakat al-Fitr donations to 100 households, extending their reach to between 300 to 350 individuals. This ensured that families could observe the traditions of Eid with dignity, further enriching their lives during challenging times
